Company “AMG KERNEL” LLC cultivates 5 thousand hectares of arable land. The main crops include wheat, barley, sunflower, corn, soya, rapeseed and linen.
The Company harvested over 8 thousand tonnes of cereals and more than 7 thousand tonnes of technical crops in 2015.

The Company production assets comprise an elevator with the storage capacity of 22 thousand tonnes per year. The draying-cleaning facility was refurbished in 2008. Hence a modern dryer S-416 with automated drying process was installed. The technological block for processing the seeds enables the Company to have wheat, barley and soya seeds for own purposes.
    The elevator was certified in 2010 to process and store organic produce/BIO. This helped promoting the wheat and oil crops on the European market.

As per its agricultural unit upgrading plan developed and approved at the end of 2013, “AMG KERNEL” LLC invested (in 2014) in the procurement of modern agricultural machines and equipment of such brands like: Case IH, John Deere, New Holland, Kverneland, Hardi, Köckerling and Trimble.
     The purchased agricultural machines and equipment fostered the Company activity, having increased its output, cut down the staff costs as well as the use of diesel fuel per hectare, and improved the sowing process and the soil cultivation.

The soil cultivation technology is seen as mastery, covering a wide spectrum of procedures aimed to set advantageous conditions for growing and developing agricultural crops. The technological process covers the procedures applied from cleaning the plot from previous crops and till harvesting (inclusive).
In order to provide the Company with the necessary production resources (agricultural machines, fertilisers, seeds, etc.) in the most efficient and rational way, the Company professionals develop diverse technological options for soil processing depending on crop rotation.
    Nowadays, along with the classical technology (by annual ploughing) of crop growing, the Company expended significantly the areas where it applies soil protection and resource-saving technologies, including:
•    Mini Till – minimal soil processing (no ploughing);
•    Strip Till – soil processing in strips.

The energy saving technologies used for soil processing is now the Company short-term priority.

The emerging precision agriculture gained impetus as it allows cutting down the price cost of agricultural produce.
In 2014 Company “AMG KERNEL” LLC invested in precision agriculture technologies provided by Trimble, including such methods as: GPS track parallel guidance system, localised (differentiated) introduction of fertilisers and crop protection means, localised planting of propagating material, monitoring the sowing unit and the harvesting. The GPS track parallel guidance system enabled the Company to enhance the work efficiency of agricultural machines, which saved up to 10%-15% of planting material, fertilisers, chemicals and fuels due to the reduction of omissions and overlapping in the process of sowing and sprinkling.
    In 2015 the Company continued the development in this direction, having invested in the use of RTK station, which guarantees the precision of signals ±2,5 cm required for the introduction and use of Strip Till technologies.
